Welcome to Lyza! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and us (“Lyza”, “we”, “our”). By using Lyza’s website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. Overview

Lyza is a simple, no-subscription link shortener, QR code generator, and click/scan analytics platform. We offer permanent, trackable links you can trust. These Terms govern your use of our services, including our website (“Site”) and all features, links, and tools we provide (“Services”).

2. Eligibility & Account Use

  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • If you create an account, you're responsible for its security and activity.
  • If your access is suspended or terminated, you may not create another account.

3. Acceptable Use

We built Lyza for creators, sellers, and humans who want better links. Don’t use Lyza to:

Link to harmful or illegal content:

  • Violence, harassment, child exploitation
  • Non-consensual content
  • Terrorism, self-harm, or anything unlawful

Engage in harmful behavior:

  • Phishing, impersonation, spam, or cloaking links
  • Malware or unauthorized data collection
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Circumventing any Lyza protections

We reserve the right to remove links or suspend accounts for any behavior that endangers users or the service, with or without warning.

4. Payment & Refunds

  • Most Lyza links are one-time purchases. You’ll see the cost before you pay.
  • All payments are final unless required by law or granted at our discretion.
  • If we ever offer subscriptions (e.g. Lyza Plus), terms for those will be separate.

5. Data & Privacy

We collect minimal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle analytics, cookies, and geolocation.

6. Intellectual Property

All logos, visuals, and platform code belong to Lyza or our licensors. You retain rights to any content you link to, but you grant us a license to process and analyze it for technical delivery and analytics. Third-party elements, e.g. marketplace/platform logos provided for QR code use, are provided ONLY for use as permitted by those third party's terms and to create codes that link to the relevant marketplaces/platforms. Do not misuse them. QR codes, etc., that misuse third-party logos or link to destinations other than the relevant marketplaces/platforms may and will be removed without warning.

7. Link Trust & Editing

Lyza links are permanent. Once created, the short link and target URL cannot be modified. This protects you and your users from manipulation. You can modify the query string (after the ?) to manage tracking parameters.

8. External Content

Lyza links point to destinations you control. We are not responsible for the content at those destinations. Use responsibly.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or harm the service. Links associated with abusive accounts may be removed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lyza is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties—express or implied—about the accuracy, availability, uptime, or results of the service. Use Lyza at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lyza has no liability whatsoever for damages of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. If any liability is imposed despite this, our total obligation will not exceed $0 USD.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of Lyza will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) under its current rules. Hearings may be conducted virtually unless otherwise required by law. You waive your right to a jury trial or class action.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If arbitration is not enforceable, any claims will be brought in the courts of Nevada.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll update the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the service means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, are the full agreement between you and Lyza. They override any prior agreements or understandings.
